Since our beginnings

Our History

NC Subvention Conseil Inc. also operating under the name NC Subvention Consulting Inc. was incorporated in 2023 by Corinne Dourlent, who also serves as its director.

Its head office is established in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where Corinne Dourlent was employed as Executive Director of the Association Communautaire Fransaskoise de Moose Jaw (ACFMJ).

The successes achieved through her skills and integrity attracted the Fédération des Francophones de Saskatoon (FFS), which asked her to remotely manage Cinergie, Saskatchewan's international francophone film festival.

Corinne Dourlent was then recruited by the Festival International Grand Écran (FIGE), which retained her contractually as Assistant Director under the general management of Nancy Béliveau. This Quebec-based project was co-founded by A-Z Films, a feature film production, distribution, and theatrical exhibition company; Les Cinémas Ciné Entreprise Inc., a cornerstone of the Quebec film industry for over 60 years; the Festival du film de l'Outaouais, created in 1998; and Cinéma Pine, which held its first screening in 1948.

These management responsibilities for community organizations and festivals allowed Corinne Dourlent to develop unique expertise. In the course of her duties, she built an extensive network of contacts closely linked to non-profit organizations (NPOs) whose financial resources depend essentially on the success of their grant applications.

The birth of NC Subvention Conseil Inc. came about naturally in response to the growing needs of various organizations providing services to the community.
